5th Dzongkhag Tshogdu

Coinciding with the Birth Anniversary of His Holiness the 70th Jekhenpo, the 5th Dzongkhag Tshogdu of Lhuentse Dzongkhag was conducted on 21/08/2023. The opening of the DT session started with Zhugdrel Phuensum Tshogpa followed by recitation of Zhabten of His Holiness the Jekhenpo. The main aim of the session was to endorse the current and capital budget of financial year 2023-2024 and furthermore to discuss the issues that could not resolved in their respective Gewog Tshogdey. The session concluded with the recitation of Zhabten of His Majesty the 5th Druk Gyalpo.
